About the Role
The site leader guides the Operations team to achieve the company’s strategic goals. • Reinforce ethics, values, and quality policies throughout the site. • Implement and maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, investigations, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement. • Engage the workforce, set goals, and empower employees to make decisions. • Provide formal and informal feedback to foster innovation and continuous learning. • Partner with supply chain to align demand forecasts with load and capacity plans for optimal schedule execution. • Lead and support direct reports by discussing expectations, progress, and problem resolution to meet operational objectives. • Communicate all policies, procedures, practices, and operational standards to the entire Operations team.

What You Bring
The role requires appropriate educational credentials or equivalent experience, legal authorization to work in the United States, and the ability to handle export‑controlled information. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Rumford, RI, unless they are active‑duty military personnel, and no relocation assistance is provided. The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and fair‑chance hiring. • Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of Operations/Manufacturing experience, or high‑school diploma/GED with at least five years of relevant experience. • Master’s degree or MBA preferred. • Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing leadership role. • Extensive experience with Lean manufacturing tools and principles. • Proven management and leadership experience in a cross‑functional environment. • Working knowledge of business systems, manufacturing supply chain, accounting systems, industrial engineering, and manufacturing operations/processes. • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes such as safety, environmental, assembly, gauging, and AS9100 standards. • Ability to plan and schedule manufacturing workloads to support sales and inventory requirements.
