About the Role

The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and completing required documentation. Drivers must follow WM safety and life‑critical rules, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Operate vehicle in compliance with WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR). • Immediately report unsafe situations or service issues to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Work with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and identify best practices. • Notify management of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Inform Operations Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, closed streets, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Fully dump all receptacles and leave the customer's location clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and check‑out process. • Perform scheduled duties and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

What You Bring

The position requires physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. • Minimum 1 year experience operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years. • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country. • Hold a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License with an air‑brake endorsement. • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Driver/Operator expected to operate vehicles and equipment safely and reliably.
