About the Role
The position is located in Monroe, LA (71201) under the SPO division. It is a regular, non‑union trade role focused on facilitating shop operations and asset management. The employee will support project teams by ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are available, organized, and maintained according to Turner standards. • Collaborate with Project or Trade Foreman to schedule and expedite material and equipment delivery. • Inventory supplies and submit orders to Foreman for restocking. • Communicate scope and implementation plans with subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor their progress. • Ensure employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with Turner standards, safety codes, regulations, and site security. • Review work instructions, signage, and manufacturer safety guidelines; inspect tools before use. • Conduct daily Pre‑Task Plans, follow safety protocols, select appropriate equipment, and wear required PPE. • Schedule daily pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes for efficiency and safety. • Document asset condition upon delivery and pickup. • Stock, organize, and rearrange tools and equipment in the shop and yard. • Obtain and maintain required training and licensing for equipment. • Keep inventory records current in asset management software. • Assist with periodic asset audits. • Complete and submit daily shop documentation and reports. • Perform equipment inspections in the yard as needed. • Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions to prevent injury or property damage. • Secure property and maintain shop cleanliness and regular maintenance. • Manage fleet refueling and registration as required. • Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb (occasionally heavier), climbing, and working at heights; work on construction sites exposed to moving machinery, noise, weather, fumes, and electrical hazards, adhering to all safety policies.

What You Bring
The role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb, and occasional heavier lifts, as well as climbing, balancing, and working at heights. The work environment is typically on active construction sites with exposure to moving machinery, noise, weather, fumes, and potential electrical hazards, requiring strict adherence to safety policies. • Comprehend scopes of work per plans and specifications to complete assignments. • Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations. • Minimum six months of warehouse, shop, or related experience, or equivalent education/training. • Ability to read and interpret construction contracts, drawings, specifications, scopes, vendor tags, and schedules. • Proficient use of tools necessary to complete work assignments. • Strong critical‑thinking and sound judgment for problem solving. • Capability to take direction, work independently with minimal supervision, and function effectively in a team. • Active listening skills, ability to ask clarifying questions, and complete assignments as directed. • Clear, professional verbal and written communication with all levels of personnel and clients. • Reliable personal transportation. • Willingness to travel using various modes and work nights or weekends as needed. • Valid state driver’s license and, when required, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
