About the Role

The Data & Process Management (DPM) Technical Program Manager (TPM) role ensures engineering and business teams achieve strategic outcomes. The TPM drives projects through roadmap execution, dependency tracking, and progress oversight, delivering complex programs from planning to execution while aligning functional areas. Based in Toronto or Montreal, the position follows a hybrid model with 1‑2 days per week in the office. • Facilitate alignment between teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders. • Drive cross‑organization initiatives through project planning, dependency management, and impediment removal. • Collaborate with other TPMs to improve practices and processes. • Manage stakeholders and communications; partner with executives, architects, and product management to shape strategy and requirements. • Serve as communication focal point for complex programs across Autodesk teams and divisions. • Provide executive and team‑level status reporting on initiative status, risks, and achievements. • Engage product and engineering leadership to build clear delivery plans. • Continuously refine plans during execution and regularly update stakeholders on progress. • Remove impediments by supporting engineering teams with exception handling. • Identify and mitigate risks to reduce waste, optimize delivery, and improve team satisfaction. • Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions from design through delivery. • Automate delivery processes across design, development, and operations to create transparency and a single source of truth. • Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen culture through retrospectives and lessons learned.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate expert understanding and execution of projects across all phases. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. • 5+ years experience working directly with engineering and product teams on complex, multi‑team initiatives in fast‑paced environments using traditional and Agile methods. • 3+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Software Architect, Product Owner or similar role. • Demonstrated knowledge of systems/cloud services and cloud platforms (APIs, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Strong technical background with excellent problem‑solving abilities. • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. • Outstanding relationship‑building and influencing skills. • Proficiency with technical tools to scale programs and solutions.

Benefits

Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging from $131,500 to $180,840 for Canada‑BC roles, plus potential bonuses, stock grants, commissions for sales positions, and a comprehensive benefits package.
