About the Role
• Assist in preparing site data sheets. • Assist in preparing requisitions for pre‑engineered steel buildings, structural steel supports, prefabricated pipe supports, and subcontracts. • Assist in preparing proposals for geotechnical investigations and topographic surveys. • Prepare technical bid evaluations for pre‑engineered steel buildings, structural steel supports, and prefabricated pipe supports. • Perform civil and structural calculations for various project elements. • Review plot plans and facilities for civil/structural requirements. • Review vendor documents. • Verify discipline scope of work aligns with project specifications and proposal documents.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate typically has 2–6 years of engineering experience, proficiency with engineering computer systems, and strong written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required, and an EIT certification is preferred. Core competencies include being results‑oriented, customer focused, having impact and influence, and strong business and people acumen. The work environment is a standard office setting, involving frequent sitting and computer use. The role may require occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and the ability to move or carry office materials. Physical demands are comparable to sedentary work. • Accept short‑term and extended assignments at site or client offices as directed by the Chief Civil/Structural Engineer.
