About the Role
• Read and interpret load charts • Interpret hand signals to determine material placement • Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment • Conduct daily equipment inspections, including fluid checks, refueling, and wear assessment • Report malfunctioning equipment to supervisors • Prepare, fine‑tune, and level surfaces to specifications • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring
The Dirt and Finish Operator should be certified and be able to operate equipment such as a track hoe, rubber‑tire backhoe, front‑end loader, road grader/maintainer, bulldozer, hoe ram, and Ross carrier. The role requires learning and understanding all safety hazards related to the work and safely using or operating related tools and equipment. Work will be performed in plant operations or construction jobsite settings. The position demands physical capabilities including lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), pushing, pulling, climbing, and operating a range of hand and power tools, as well as working on uneven, muddy, or soft surfaces and in adverse weather conditions. Mentally, the employee must communicate effectively with management, comprehend written directions, make decisions, maintain detail‑orientation, and concentrate amid distractions.
