About the Role
The Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering courteous, complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring vehicle compliance with company safety standards, adhering to all applicable regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports. Drivers must conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, reporting any issues. They follow route sheets, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities, while interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. Additional duties include tagging unsatisfactory containers, monitoring waste for prohibited materials, cleaning accidental spills, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, completing productivity sheets and VCRs, and meeting productivity standards. Drivers also participate in the company’s ReSOP safety program and perform other job‑related tasks as assigned.

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement, strong customer service, time‑management, and adherence to safety policies. Candidates must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a commitment to meeting work schedules and goals.
