About the Role

The Quality Supervisor is accountable for verifying that products meet all requirements and processes, leading the inspection team, delivering quality training, selecting inspection technology, investigating problems, reviewing discrepant material, and managing disposition or recovery actions. The supervisor also ensures accurate recordkeeping and compliance with both company and customer requirements. • Develop, implement, and monitor all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) • Lead internal audit program and AS9100 compliance • Manage a team of hourly employees in the quality function, directing work and managing performance • Maintain accurate records to comply with company and customer record retention requirements • Determine, develop, and monitor inspection and verification techniques to meet design requirements, including new product releases for prototype and production products • Coordinate training on MSA, gage selection and use, GD&T, and special inspection techniques such as flatness measurement • Monitor and create action plans to meet key business metrics including productivity, on‑time delivery, first pass yield, and cycle time/backlog • Develop methods to eliminate quality problems and improve manufacturing processes through collaboration with manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, supply chain management, and suppliers • Work with internal and external customers to interpret or reach agreement on quality procedures and product acceptability • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and implement Lean activities to eliminate waste in key processes

What You Bring

Basic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, at least four years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing setting, legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, and compliance with ITAR regulations, which require applicants to be U.S. persons. All applicants must be within a 50‑mile radius of the facility unless they are active‑duty military members, who are exempt from this restriction. Preferred qualifications comprise a technical or master’s degree, experience managing people, ASQ certification, strong GD&T expertise, background in aerospace products and complex machined materials, and a proven ability to collaborate with engineering and supply‑chain teams.
