About the Role

The role oversees warehouse operations by managing personnel performance, ensuring all expectations and requirements are fulfilled, and maintaining cross‑training and succession planning. Safety and professionalism are emphasized through daily safety meetings and interaction with employees, customers, and suppliers. Key operational duties include handling deliveries, loading and unloading trucks, auditing incoming and outgoing materials against documentation, performing physical inspections, entering receipts in SAP, labeling spare parts, documenting supplier discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Additional responsibilities involve housekeeping, completing daily UPS/FedEx and driver logs, recording performance metrics, and assisting hotshot drivers and walk‑in requests. • Manage personnel performance • Generate performance metrics and overtime reports • Ensure expectations and requirements are met • Maintain cross‑training and succession planning • Perform safe physical and administrative warehouse tasks • Make deliveries throughout the plant • Conduct housekeeping duties • Load and unload sweep and freight trucks • Audit materials against BOL, packing slips, and purchase orders • Inspect and validate materials for technical acceptance • Enter goods receipt transactions in SAP R3 • Print and apply stock or sweep truck labels to spare parts • Document supplier discrepancies per defined process • Complete daily UPS/FedEx and driver logs • Record key performance metrics on tier board • Stage and store materials in assigned locations • Maintain accurate inventory levels • Assist hotshot drivers and handle business calls and walk‑ins • Interact professionally with employees, customers, and suppliers • Transport material between Geismar site and off‑site warehouse • Attend daily morning safety meetings • Participate in on‑call/call‑out rotation • Provide material/warehouse experience with strong leadership • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and working at heights

What You Bring

Candidates must have material and warehouse experience with strong leadership abilities, effective interpersonal and team‑building skills, and solid computer proficiency, including knowledge of SAP MM/WM.
