About the Role

• Performs engineering tasks within the engineer's background, education, and licensure knowledge base. • The position does not have any regular responsibility for overseeing or supervising the work of other team members. • Reviews vendor and contractor bids and assists in procurement. • Responds to questions from the field team during construction. • Sizes and rates electrical equipment needed to perform required project functions. • Creates electrical equipment specifications and datasheets. • Ensures Quality of Engineering Deliverables • Facilitates interaction between departments, including completing a RACI model (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) interdepartmental check. • Completes electrical reports, calculations, and studies. • Reviews deliverables for engineering correctness and constructability. • Develops electrical design packages. Packages to include but are not limited to load lists, one lines, circuit schedules, lighting, grounding, cable tray, underground plans, layouts, area classification, 3D model review, and project lead reports. • Quality • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
