About the Role
Grow your career as a High Voltage Electrician/Electrical Fitter within our team based in Matamata. You will join a great team responsible for the installation and technical maintenance of electrical equipment including substations, transformers, switchgear, regulators, and other associated network equipment. • Install and maintain substations, transformers, switchgear, regulators, and related network equipment.

What You Bring
Relevant EWRB registration and practising licence are required, as well as a current Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred). Sound knowledge of electrical test equipment, systems and procedures is essential, with electricity distribution industry experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills and physical stamina for manual work in challenging conditions are also needed. • Hold a valid EWRB registration and practising licence. • Possess a current Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred). • Demonstrate proficiency with electrical test equipment and procedures. • Have experience in the electricity distribution industry (preferred). • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Exhibit physical stamina for manual work in demanding conditions.
