About the Role

The Senior Strategic Communications Coordinator role supports client management and leads the design and execution of outreach, communication, and public‑relations strategies. The position oversees production teams, develops concepts, writes and edits materials, and facilitates a wide range of stakeholder meetings and workshops. It also involves data gathering, political analysis, media monitoring, and managing external service providers to ensure comprehensive project support. • Assist client management and develop outreach, communication, and PR plans • Lead production and planning teams; create, write, edit, and coordinate graphic materials • Organize and facilitate public meetings, hearings, focus groups, workshops, and advisory committees • Conduct data gathering, political analysis, and develop political outreach strategies • Monitor media and track project documentation • Manage distribution lists, external service providers, and research industry trends

What You Bring

• Preferred: consulting or creative agency experience in community engagement • Preferred: Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a related field; Master’s optional • Preferred: Media relations experience and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines • Required: Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience • Required: Experience leading social media campaigns • Required: Service‑oriented with strong written, verbal, and organizational skills • Required: Self‑starter who works independently or in a team
