About the Role
In this position you will oversee production processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets, and coordinate technical challenges with engineering and manufacturing. You will manage fielding activities—including logistics, installation, and integration—while developing support strategies such as maintenance schedules, troubleshooting protocols, and upgrades. Project planning, risk mitigation, compliance, and comprehensive documentation are also central to the role. • Oversee production of ZEUS and MPS, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance • Coordinate engineering and manufacturing to resolve technical challenges • Manage system fielding, including logistics, installation, and customer integration • Develop support strategies, maintenance schedules, troubleshooting protocols, and upgrades • Collaborate with customer support to maintain high system availability • Create and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies • Serve as primary liaison with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications and reports • Lead cross‑functional teams, providing mentorship and promoting accountability

What You Bring
We are seeking a highly skilled Project/Production Manager to lead production, fielding, and ongoing support of our cutting‑edge directed energy system, ZEUS, and the Missile Plum Simulator (MPS). The role requires a strong technical background, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage complex projects within the defense and advanced technology sectors. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and customer support teams to ensure successful delivery and lifecycle management. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field and have at least five years of project management experience in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology. A solid understanding of directed energy or missile simulation technologies, proficiency with project management tools like MS Project or Jira, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills are required. Preferred experience includes government contracts, defense systems, and familiarity with systems engineering and lifecycle management. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology • Knowledge of directed energy systems or missile simulation technologies • Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills • Experience with government contracts and defense systems (preferred) • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and lifecycle management (preferred) • Leadership, analytical thinking, and attention to detail • Adaptability in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments • Effective decision‑making and conflict resolution abilities
