About the Role
This position is based at our Grand Rapids, MI location. The role involves using Windows‑based software such as Excel and Word to perform inspection tasks. Responsibilities include evaluating product compliance through blueprint and GD&T interpretation, providing support for both receiving and final inspection, and preparing First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements. The employee will also assist in meeting month‑end customer demand. • Evaluate product compliance using blueprints, GD&T, and industry specifications. • Provide inspection support for receiving and final inspection processes. • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 standards. • Support month‑end customer demand as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of manufacturing experience, including one year in a quality department and two years of receiving inspection experience. Recent experience (within the last five years) in evaluating product compliance with industry specifications, blueprint reading, and GD&T is required. A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution and the ability to read and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders are essential. The position requires the ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR. Only candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Grand Rapids, Michigan are considered, although active‑duty military personnel are exempt. • Use Excel and Word to perform inspection‑related tasks. • Minimum three years manufacturing experience, including one year in quality. • At least two years receiving inspection experience. • Recent (within five years) experience evaluating compliance with specifications and GD&T. • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Ability to read and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders. • Must be a U.S. person per ITAR and able to work without sponsorship. • Reside within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, Michigan (military exempt).
