About the Role
Calling all recent graduates and Attorneys with 7+ years of experience. • Representing the Agency at Federal, state, and city Equal Employment Opportunity hearings and trials through a special designation from the Law Department • Prosecuting employee disciplinary and fitness hearings before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings [OATH] • Advising Agency staff on a variety of labor and employment related legal issues including conflicts of interest rules, adherence to labor and employment statutes and regulations, and public access to information. • Serving as counsel to the Agency’s Human Resources Solutions [HRS], providing critical guidance on complex labor issues, including reasonable accommodations and conflict of interest rules; and • Assisting with tracking and investigating incoming provider sexual harassment complaints as mandated by Mayoral Order 64. • Handling appeals before the City Civil Service Commission [CSC]

What You Bring
Desired Qualifications: Newly admitted to NY State Bar or pending admission. We have had very good luck with training new attorneys in this role.
