Manage HVDC subcontract procurement from RfQ preparation to contract signing.

About the Role
You will be responsible for creating and managing the SoW, handling clarifications and negotiations, selecting suitable subcontractors, and overseeing the signing of subcontract agreements. The role also entails developing a subcontracting strategy that ensures all necessary documents are ready for the RfQ and the final executed subcontract. • Prepare detailed scope of works and supporting documentation for HVDC construction and commissioning RfQ packages. • Lead clarification, negotiation, and selection processes for subcontractors until contract signing. • Develop and implement a project‑specific subcontracting strategy aligned with documentation requirements. • Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement and contractual risks throughout the subcontract lifecycle. • Coordinate multiple subcontract tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and compliance. • Maintain high‑quality records and ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and guidelines. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including multilingual interactions where required. • Apply strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement in subcontract procurement. • Utilise MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) to manage documents and reports efficiently.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires strong teamwork, exceptional communication across all organisational levels, and the ability to solve problems and work cross‑functionally. A proactive, analytical mindset, high independence, risk identification, meticulous attention to detail, and a global, culturally aware perspective are essential. Candidates must have at least ten years of experience in heavy or industrial sectors, preferably within the power industry, a bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related field, and a minimum of three years in subcontract procurement and development. A technical or engineering background, proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontracts, and proficiency with MS Office 365 suite are required. • Work independently with minimal supervision while fostering collaborative teamwork.
