About the Role

As an Architect you will lead a variety of project types and sizes for both public and private sector clients, including federal, state, and local municipal projects, park and recreation, commercial/industrial, and warehousing. The role requires preparing comprehensive contract documents, leading multidisciplinary teams, and managing construction‑phase activities such as submittal reviews and field inspections. You will interpret building codes for new construction and renovations, develop designs through all project phases, and assist with proposals, surveys, and cost estimating. Independent work with supervisor direction and strong teamwork are essential. • Prepare contract documents, drawings, schedules, and specifications from concept through final set. • Lead and motivate a small multidisciplinary project team throughout project delivery. • Manage construction‑phase tasks including submittal reviews, field inspections, RFIs, and material approvals. • Interpret and apply building codes to new construction, renovations, and alterations. • Develop designs and technical solutions across all project phases. • Assist in proposal preparation and conduct building surveys and investigations. • Create project schedules and cost estimates.

What You Bring

Candidates must be a licensed/registered architect in the United States, preferably Maryland, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and 5–10 years of experience. Proficiency in Revit BIM, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite is required; experience with 3D modeling software is a plus. A solid understanding of IBC, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and other standards, combined with excellent communication skills, is needed. The ideal candidate is dynamic, creative, detail‑oriented, and effective in collaborative environments. The position is located in Baltimore, MD, with core business hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and is a full‑time role. Successful candidates must complete a criminal background check. • Licensed/registered architect in the U.S., preferably Maryland. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with 5–10 years of relevant experience. • Proficient in Revit BIM for design and construction documentation. • Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite; 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max) a plus. • Strong knowledge of IBC, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards (ANSI, ASTM, ASHRAE). • Excellent oral and written communication; able to present concepts verbally, in writing, or through drawings. • Dynamic, creative, detail‑oriented and effective in collaborative team environments.

The salary range for this role is $91,000‑$115,000, dependent on experience and location.
