About the Role
The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for daily HVAC mechanical maintenance operations for assigned facilities, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, and troubleshooting defective equipment. The role assists the HVAC Mechanic on more complex issues and works on‑call and preventive maintenance. Pay rate is $31.16 and the position is onsite. • Perform mechanical work independently on HVAC equipment. • Use diagrams to locate equipment failures. • Identify root causes of mechanical failures. • Complete all work tasks accurately and on time. • Coordinate with personnel to select correct materials and parts. • Generate and submit outage requests. • Respond promptly to emergency site maintenance. • Conduct on‑call and preventive maintenance duties. • Perform periodic inventories and prepare material requisitions. • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely. • Handle duties such as file maintenance, workspace cleanup, warehouse upkeep, and telephone answering. • Follow safety policies, personnel policies, and standard operating procedures. • Maintain or obtain Hepatitis B vaccination within six months. • Obtain and maintain required intelligence community clearance.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Possess at least two years of HVAC service and maintenance experience. • Pass pre‑hire background and drug screening. • Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
