About the Role

Each day you will maintain critical plant equipment—including balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and bearings—to ensure safe and efficient operation. Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, you will help keep the plant running smoothly and reliably. • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment such as balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, and electric motors. • Complete daily equipment inspections and manage the inspection backlog. • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and notify the Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager of any delays. • Inspect third‑party repairs, ensure quality, and recommend improvements for equipment performance and product quality. • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and multitask across multiple priorities. • Work independently with limited supervision while adhering to Safety, Life Critical Rules, and OSHA standards. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA regulations.

What You Bring

The role requires physical activity such as lifting over 50 lb, working from ladders or raised platforms, and standing on concrete floors, often in environments with dirt, noise, and weather extremes. Work locations include recycling facilities, maintenance shops, and outdoor sites. • Demonstrate flexibility to work nights and weekends as operational needs dictate. • Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience; must be 18+ years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. • Ability to lift >50 lb, work from ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations. • Team‑oriented problem solver who enjoys variety and independent work.
