Sales Account Representative - ASCO Power
Sell and manage service agreements for ASCO Power's switchgear systems.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Work independently to develop sales leads for new clients and manage existing customer accounts. • Conduct sales calls through qualified marketing leads, cold calls, ASCO sales, field service technicians and customer referrals. • Present territory forecast monthly to Regional Sales Manager. • Prepare client proposals for maintenance, modifications, and upgrade services. • Follow up on proposals and request for quotes. • Monitor contract PM schedules and follow up with customers for renewals. • Develop positive relations with accounts to foster support for ASCO Power Service and ASCO Power Technologies. • Travel as necessary to cover customer calls throughout appointed territory. • Collaborate with ASCO Power Technologies sales personnel to provide comprehensive sales coverage. • Follow Safety program PPE requirements as administered by Safety Administrator. • Maintain proper communications with Project Managers to ensure proper execution of service requirements and commitments on startups.

What You Bring
In the Sales Account Representative role at ASCO Power Services, you will sell technical services such as maintenance agreements and modifications for transfer switch products and parallel switchgear systems within an assigned territory. The position requires knowledge of three‑phase electricity and power distribution, and the ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing. You will provide excellent customer service to existing accounts while developing new sales leads. • BSEE or 4‑year Business Degree preferred. • 2+ years experience in service and/or sales of power generation, distribution, and control systems. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey technical information to a wide audience. • Ability to work independently. • Strong business system and MS Office application skills.

For this U.S.-based position, the expected compensation range is $108,800 – $163,200 per year with commission. The range applies to full‑time candidates located within the United States and is set by comparing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the range, individual pay is based on performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
