About the Role
The Porter / Yard Worker (Yard Associate) is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and servicing tools to meet specifications. The role also includes inspecting equipment before and after rental and documenting any loss or damage. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that customers receive reliable, well‑maintained equipment. • Communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) • Station and retrieve equipment on the property • Maintain a written maintenance schedule • Service equipment to meet specifications • Inspect equipment before and after rental • Document any lost or damaged equipment • Perform bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lift 50+ pounds • Work indoors and outdoors as required

What You Bring
Successful candidates typically hold a high school diploma or GED and have experience with common construction and industrial tools; experience repairing mechanical equipment is a plus. Essential skills include clear written and oral communication, basic math, proficiency with Microsoft Office, general mechanical aptitude, and a strong safety focus.
