What You Bring

The current opening is for a General Maintenance Technician who will travel to full‑time commercial construction projects nationwide. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks in commercial settings, often requiring overtime, on‑call availability, and overnight shifts. Successful candidates must be able to communicate professionally with customers, document repairs accurately, and follow OSHA safety standards. The position offers a supportive environment, including paid travel, per diem, and opportunities for professional growth. • Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, cabinetry, countertops, doors, and windows. • Skilled in interior and exterior painting. • Experienced installing VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base flooring. • Basic plumbing knowledge: replace/install sinks, faucets, toilets, and simple drainage (licensed plumbers encouraged). • Basic electrical knowledge: replace/install light fixtures, switches, outlets, perform data connections, and diagnose minor issues (licensed electricians encouraged). • Familiar with HVAC refrigeration and preventive‑maintenance service calls. • Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication. • Available for overtime, on‑call duties, and overnight travel across the United States. • Minimum three years of construction or commercial maintenance experience. • Possess standard construction hand tools. • Hold OSHA 10‑hour certification or obtain it within three months (employer‑paid).
