Associate Scheduler
Analyze and review construction schedules using Primavera for LAUSD projects.

About the Role
In this role you will review contractor Primavera P6 baseline and monthly construction schedules, identify missing scope, logic gaps, and critical‑path issues, and provide written technical comments using LAUSD’s structured templates. You will create schedule filters, layouts, and bar charts, perform QA/QC on schedule submittals, ensure proper use of standard codes and reports, generate earned‑value curves, and support the scheduling management team with reporting. • Review contractor P6 baseline schedules, identify missing scope, logic, milestones, and analyze critical path; provide written technical comments using LAUSD templates • Review contractor P6 monthly schedule updates, document milestone and critical path slippage, and conduct overall schedule analysis per LAUSD templates • Create activity schedule filters, layouts, and bar charts in Primavera P6 to support critical path analysis • Perform QA/QC on schedule submittals for contract scope conformity and validate logic ties across project types • Ensure proper use of program‑level standard codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity • Generate earned value curves following LAUSD EVA template guidelines • Prepare and assist with scheduling reports as needed

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of full‑time scheduling experience for an owner or general contractor, preferably on educational or public‑works projects, and be proficient in the latest version of Primavera and the MS Office suite. They must be able to read architectural plans and specifications, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate superior organizational abilities. A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering or a related field is required. Applicants will be required to submit an up‑to‑date resume, any certifications or licenses, three to four professional references, and a project list with values, dates, and employer information. • Proficiency with the latest Primavera version and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for school construction projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff • Superior organizational and planning abilities • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution

Benefits
