About the Role

The Manager, Accounts Payable will oversee and optimize AP processes, manage team performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to strategic improvements. This role ensures that payments are made and records are maintained in line with corporate policy, supporting the company’s vision of zero‑defect homes, cost management, and schedule adherence. Key responsibilities include supervising AP analysts, allocating tasks efficiently, and ensuring compliance with policies. The manager serves as the first escalation point for complex issues, drives process‑improvement initiatives, measures performance, provides coaching, and conducts training for new and existing staff. Additional duties cover invoice coding and approval, error‑review management, invoice‑check matching, preparation of Payment Group Edit Reports, and leading speed‑release processes for trade partners in the West division. • Oversee AP team performance, allocate tasks, ensure policy compliance • Act as first escalation point for complex AP issues and provide guidance • Identify and resolve process issues to maintain seamless operations • Measure analyst performance, coach staff, and create development plans • Conduct training for new and existing Accounts Payable associates • Supervise invoice coding, processing, and approval for payment • Administer error review for Metaviewer invoices and resolve discrepancies • Oversee invoice‑check matching using automated tools • Prepare and approve Payment Group Edit Reports (PGER) • Lead speed‑release process for trade partners and subcontractors (West division)

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high‑school diploma or GED, with a college degree preferred, and at least three to five years of supervisory experience. The role requires the ability to set and implement departmental goals, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Physical requirements include the ability to work at a desk, operate computer equipment, and lift or move up to 25 lb. • High School Diploma/GED required; college degree preferred • 3–5 years supervisory experience • Ability to set and implement departmental goals and objectives • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) • Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 lb and perform sedentary office duties
