About the Role

Key responsibilities include defining strategic direction for project controls, developing governance frameworks, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, earned‑value analysis and lifecycle cost estimating, and integrating detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. The role also manages risk registers, conducts risk workshops, performs Monte Carlo analyses, directs change‑control processes, prepares executive dashboards and reports, and ensures data integrity across all phases. Additionally, the Director will lead and mentor a high‑performing controls team, act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and support business initiatives by identifying process‑improvement opportunities while adhering to applicable SOX controls. • Lead cost, schedule, and risk management for a large‑scale data centre program in Beaver County, PA. • Develop and enforce governance frameworks, reporting protocols, and project‑controls processes. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, earned‑value analysis, variance reporting, and lifecycle cost estimating. • Create and integrate detailed CPM schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) and monitor critical paths. • Manage risk registers, conduct risk workshops, and perform Monte Carlo analyses for mitigation. • Direct change‑control processes, evaluate scope changes, and drive cost‑reduction initiatives. • Produce executive dashboards, gateway documentation, and senior‑level performance reports. • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a high‑performing project‑controls team, fostering accountability. • Ensure data integrity across all phases using Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost systems. • Identify process‑improvement opportunities and support broader business initiatives.

What You Bring

The firm is seeking an experienced Director of Project Controls to lead cost, schedule and risk management for a large‑scale data centre construction program in Beaver County, PA. This senior leadership role will establish robust project‑controls processes, ensure accurate forecasting and reporting, and provide governance across all delivery phases while supporting major client accounts and broader business initiatives. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, finance or a related field (graduate degree preferred) and possess at least 12 years of project‑controls experience, including two years leading teams in a consulting environment. Expertise in cost forecasting, earned‑value management, risk analysis, change management, and multiple contract delivery methods is required, along with proven success implementing integrated controls systems for major capital projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, cost‑management systems and advanced Excel is essential, and professional certifications such as CCP, PSP or PMP are highly desirable. Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills, as well as knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks, are also expected.
