About the Role

• Process new hires and rehires through the FNF system, ensuring online applications are completed. • Maintain I‑9 compliance using E‑Verify, verify proper forms and IDs, and purge records per USCIS guidelines. • Coordinate pre‑employment drug testing paperwork and notify laboratories for all new hires and rehires. • Submit state new‑hire reports in a timely manner. • Communicate with applicants and field managers about job postings and collaborate with MasTec Recruitment to manage listings. • Enter and track data for employee evaluations, promotions, demotions, and terminations. • Assist with DOT pre‑employment requirements for CDL drivers, including MVR, PSP reports, drug/alcohol testing, safety training, and qualification file completion. • Create and maintain personnel and CDL files in accordance with federal, state, and DOT regulations; arrange DOT physicals and verify physician registration. • Partner with Equipment Services and JJ Keller to ensure CDL program compliance and proper recordkeeping. • Work with Risk Management to approve new CDL drivers and obtain necessary driver reports and testing. • Respond to web inquiries about job openings via email or formal letters and follow up with employees seeking advancement. • Attend ongoing training on CDL program, E‑Verify, and HR topics; represent FNF HR at ARPA and AGC meetings. • Provide scheduled backup support for the front desk receptionist. • Process DOT and general employment verifications and issue letters of employment according to internal policy. • Code and balance monthly invoices for pre‑employment vendors, including JJ Keller. • Assist the HR Generalist with logistics for monthly Healthy Workshops, including food orders, signage, and attendance tracking. • Track usage of ancillary employee programs as requested by the HR Generalist. • Order, stock, and maintain the office vending machine and handle other special projects as assigned. • Stay current on FLSA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, and ADA legislation. • Provide technical guidance and training on the FNF hiring process to end users. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. • Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. • Prioritize tasks effectively and stay organized in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. • Manage multiple projects with varying priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. • Finish the E‑Verify online tutorial and related tests.
