About the Role
The position’s primary purpose is to install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment such as packing pumps, valves, and pipe systems, performing welding and operating machine tools where close tolerances are not required. • Assist senior mechanics with disassembly, assembly, tube rolling/expanding, valve repair, and resealing. • Perform maintenance and repair on buildings and equipment. • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair packing pumps, valves, insulated pipes, and operate welding and machine tools.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma, pass pre‑employment testing, be able to work various shifts and obtain unescorted nuclear access, and possess one of several technical education or relevant experience qualifications. • Must have a high school diploma, pass pre‑employment testing, work varied shifts, and obtain unescorted nuclear access. • Eligible with either an associate degree in a technical field, 2+ years mechanical military experience, 2+ years journeyperson pipefitter/boilermaker/millwright experience, or equivalent industrial experience.
