About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will oversee daily report review, collaborate with project teams, resolve technical and administrative issues, and train field staff on assigned projects. Budget management, invoicing, pay applications, and collection assistance are integral responsibilities. The role also involves preparing and reviewing proposals and change orders, prioritizing tasks, hosting or attending client meetings, and following up on reports. Mentoring junior project managers and contributing to team development are key expectations, including working with other managers and internal recruiters on staffing decisions. The manager will actively market ECS services, building new client relationships while maintaining existing ones. Career development is supported through additional mentoring, leadership opportunities, and advanced certifications as experience grows. • Review daily project reports and provide technical and administrative resolutions. • Collaborate with project teams and train field staff on project requirements. • Manage project budgets, prepare invoices, process pay applications, and assist with collections. • Prepare, review, and negotiate proposals and change orders while prioritizing tasks. • Host or attend client meetings, track project deadlines, and ensure timely report follow‑up. • Mentor junior project managers and participate in staffing decisions with recruiters. • Market ECS services to acquire new clients and nurture existing relationships.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in civil, construction, materials, architectural engineering, or geology, and possess at least five years of relevant experience. Professional licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required, along with a valid driver’s license and insurance. Strong marketing, communication, safety, CMT knowledge, and leadership skills are also essential. • BS degree in civil, construction, materials, architectural engineering, or geology. • Minimum five years of relevant construction materials testing experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) licensure. • Proven marketing ability to develop and maintain client relationships. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong understanding of heavy construction safety practices and ASTM CMT standards. • Demonstrated leadership and decision‑making capabilities.
