About the Role
Key duties include reviewing specifications to determine material needs, identifying required tools and safety precautions, fabricating and installing pipe systems, attaching valves, hangers, supports and flanges, and performing quality tests. The incumbent will also hoist loads using rigging equipment and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and project plans. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals. • Determine material quantities, sizes, and locations required for each job. • Identify and gather all tools and equipment needed for tasks. • Assess safety risks and implement necessary precautions. • Fabricate, install, and fit pipe systems to project specifications. • Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges as per plans. • Conduct tests to verify pipe and system quality. • Hoist and rig loads using slings, chains, shackles, and other equipment. • Maintain effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.

What You Bring
The role requires a minimum of four years of industrial pipe‑fitting experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals, and solid leadership and communication skills. Candidates must have a proven history in industrial construction or maintenance, strong problem‑solving abilities, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and company values. The position involves extensive physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or platforms while wearing required personal protective equipment. Work must be performed in all weather conditions, adhering to Zachry’s safety rules and fall‑protection standards. • Demonstrate at least four years of industrial pipe‑fitting experience. • Exhibit strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and independent work capabilities.
