About the Role

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager I to provide overall leadership for one large project or multiple projects, overseeing quality, timeliness, safety, and mentoring the project team. The role involves developing and improving customer relationships through excellent service and requires strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. Flexibility, inventiveness, dedication, efficiency, high integrity, and confidentiality are essential for success. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience • Minimum eight years of construction management/project management experience • Ability to manage multiple large, complex projects • Strong active listening and effective communication skills, open to diverse input • Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project, and web applications • Positive professional attitude and strong customer service orientation • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%

Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $144,300‑$216,500, with higher ranges for offices in Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C., and the salary is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
