About the Role

Job Summary: Deliver the highest quality designs and commercially viable planning permissions by supporting the Planning team with designs and the required information for preparation and submission of planning applications, while offering advanced design, technical skill, process management and mentorship. Primary responsibilities cover pre‑development management, development management and land, planning & community engagement, ensuring designs meet standards, coordinating consultants, negotiating with authorities and driving approvals across a portfolio of sites. Internal applicants should inform their line manager if they wish to apply for this role. • Deliver consistent design packages aligned with departmental standards. • Ensure designs comply with building regulations, technical bulletins, and authority requirements. • Attend concept, pretender, pre‑start, and specification meetings per company framework. • Meet challenging programme deadlines consistently. • Manage project fees and costs within budget using TW fee schedules and workflow. • Produce high‑quality designs using standard TW products and details. • Coordinate external consultants to provide timely, on‑budget information. • Validate design viability with internal business‑unit requirements. • Apply the Quality Management Process to uphold design quality. • Organise and record design meetings across departments efficiently. • Liaise with statutory and local planning authorities to achieve objectives. • Collaborate with engineering to meet adoptable and approval standards. • Advise on legislation changes affecting building control, NHBC, and planning law. • Lead community consultations and manage Section 106 agreements. • Clear planning conditions and oversee development functions on assigned sites.

What You Bring
