About the Role

The Lead Technician – Security will act as the subject‑matter expert and mentor for a team of technicians, overseeing the end‑to‑end installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of integrated security systems at customer sites. This role requires managing projects within scope, budget, and schedule, while providing system training and maintaining precise daily records. • Mentor and lead a team of security technicians. • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems (video NVR/servers, IP cameras, access control, intrusion devices, intercoms, wireless, switchgear). • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and coordinate scheduling with Project Management and Field Technicians. • Provide customers with system operation training and maintain concise daily records. • Follow all safety rules, maintain a clean jobsite, and manage material delivery and staging.

What You Bring

• Required: 5+ years as senior/lead security technician, relevant manufacturer certifications, experience with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems, and a valid US driver’s license. • Preferred: Experience in healthcare, education, manufacturing, utilities, or hospitality; familiarity with platforms such as Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Honeywell, etc.; blueprint updating, Procore/Fieldwire/Smartsheets usage; programming, testing, and training end users. • Physical demands include standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights over 6 ft, and using power tools. • Travel may require out‑of‑town assignments; overtime and on‑call availability as needed.
