Operate paper and converting machines, mobile equipment, and perform basic maintenance.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment • Work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances • Monitor and/or perform data entry into computer control systems • Follow operating procedures to meet product targets and specifications • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, trucks, and utility carts • Actively contributing to create a safe work environment, internalizing, and practicing our guiding principles to create growth and transformation for your career • Learn multiple operator functions to operate equipment to expected performance levels and standards • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) to sixteen (16) hours a day • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals • Perform basic asset care duties to include routing preventive maintenance, including lubrication, and cleaning of work area, also assist and perform equipment changeovers

What You Bring
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry • Possession of a valid driver’s license • Available to work rotating 8-hour shifts to include days, swing, graveyard, weekends, and holidays • High School Diploma or GED • 6 months or more experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, military, construction, production, warehouse, loading/unloading, fishing or logging environment • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device • Experience with basic mechanical maintenance and/or machine troubleshooting and equipment repair
