About the Role

The Director of Government Pursuits & Compliance leads end-to-end capture, proposal development, and compliance oversight for federal, state, and local government opportunities. This role ensures all submissions meet regulatory requirements, aligns internal teams around solicitation needs, and drives high-quality, competitive proposals that support business growth. The position collaborates closely with delivery, capture, sales, operations, and compliance stakeholders to promote excellence in federal procurement, risk management, and process governance. By serving as a strategic advisor to capture teams and executives, the Director aligns government pursuits with organizational growth goals. • Lead full lifecycle proposal development for federal, state, and local opportunities, ensuring compliance with solicitation documents. • Develop and maintain compliance matrices, storyboards, templates, and quality standards for submissions. • Manage proposal schedules, color reviews, and cross‑functional contributors to deliver timely, high‑quality proposals. • Serve as Government Compliance Officer, overseeing adherence to FAR, agency‑specific rules, and internal governance. • Maintain contract manuals, compliance documentation, and internal controls, and ensure readiness for SAM and other procurement systems. • Conduct quality reviews, win/loss analyses, and content optimization to improve proposal effectiveness and reusable content libraries. • Advise capture teams, executives, and technical leads, coordinating SMEs and aligning pursuits with growth objectives.

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years of experience in government proposal management, capture, or compliance. • Deep knowledge of FAR, federal procurement policies, government portals, and contracting practices. • Proven ability to lead complex proposals and cross‑functional teams under high pressure. • Strong written, editing, and technical communication skills with solid project management capabilities. • Experience in real estate, construction, engineering, or professional services. • Prior oversight of a federal compliance program or committee. • Proficiency with SharePoint, MS Office, Adobe, CRM platforms, and proposal automation tools.

Benefits

Compensation for the role ranges from $157,250 to $185,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off.
