About the Role

The Commissioning Manager supports project teams by administering contracts and managing commercial and claims activities across multidisciplinary, multinational environments. The role is suited for an early‑career professional who learns quickly, follows structured guidance, and collaborates effectively with diverse teams and disciplines. • Coordinate all pre‑commissioning and commissioning (PC&C) activities on FPSO, ensuring timely and budget‑constrained completion. • Develop baseline PC&C plan covering schedule, manpower, and budget requirements. • Incorporate EHS, contract, and customer requirements into the PC&C plan. • Maintain and update the PC&C plan throughout project development. • Manage risks and opportunities related to PC&C. • Develop PC&C procedures. • Allocate resources for PC&C activities in cooperation with the project manager. • Select PC&C vendors in cooperation with procurement. • Ensure project compliance with specifications and standards alongside QA/QC lead. • Plan and lead technical resources for PC&C. • Plan and track commissioning tools and equipment requirements. • Arrange documentation processes for PC&C activities. • Track costs of PC&C activities and report regularly to the project manager. • Participate in client meetings and promote customer relations. • Identify and resolve technical issues during PC&C. • Ensure acceptance of PC&C jobs by the customer and end‑user. • Support creation of an integrated team atmosphere and compliance with company processes.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims handling, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, and strong English, MS Office, and SharePoint skills. Experience in the energy sector and occasional business travel are advantageous. The position requires at least five years of proven experience in FPSO or topside commissioning, including completion of a FPSO or topside project as commissioning manager, deep knowledge of FPSO technology, and the ability to lead EHS initiatives while maintaining strong client and vendor relationships. • 2–3 years experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims handling with analysis of contract terms. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant discipline. • Experience in the energy sector (O&G, power generation, EPC/EPCM) is advantageous. • Proficiency in English, capable of drafting contractual letters and interpreting clauses. • Strong MS Office and SharePoint skills. • Willingness to travel occasionally for business. • Minimum five years proven experience in FPSO or topside commissioning projects. • Completed at least one FPSO or topside project as commissioning manager. • Excellent knowledge of FPSO and topside technology. • Ability to lead and promote EHS policies among team members and vendors. • Strong interpersonal and international relationship development skills. • Excellent communication, clear writing, and presentation abilities. • Knowledge of HAZID and HAZOP processes. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
