About the Role

The senior real estate professional will lead asset management for Brookfield's hospitality portfolio and support newly acquired assets. The role is remote, preferably near a major international airport, and reports to the Senior Vice President of hospitality portfolio management in North America. Key responsibilities include developing and executing capital‑expenditure, branding, and operational strategies, acting as the owner’s representative with hotel brands, and producing regular asset performance reports and cash‑flow forecasts. The position also oversees expense reviews, revenue optimization calls, lease and contract negotiations, and collaborates with treasury, accounting, and lenders on cash‑flow and debt compliance. Additionally, the role supports underwriting of new acquisitions and monitors capital renovation projects to ensure they stay on budget and schedule. • Develop and execute capex, branding, operational, and repositioning strategies aligned with business plans. • Serve as owner representative, liaising with hotel brands and management teams to implement owner strategies. • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset management reports, cash‑flow forecasts, and distribution analyses. • Review financial statements, STR reports, brand audits, and revenue management data to identify inefficiencies and revenue opportunities. • Lead weekly revenue calls with hotel teams and implement actions to increase market share. • Conduct regular expense reviews and monthly operating reviews to ensure targets, margins, and flex/flow metrics are met. • Negotiate and enforce third‑party leases, franchise agreements, management contracts, and vendor documents. • Update five‑year forecasts quarterly to support valuation processes. • Coordinate with treasury, accounting, and lenders on cash‑flow needs, capital requirements, loan compliance, and draw requests. • Oversee capital budgets and monitor renovation projects to stay within approved budget and timeline. • Assist underwriting for new acquisitions, performing market risk assessments and benchmarking analyses. • Analyze asset performance against industry benchmarks and company key performance indicators. • Manage cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to drive portfolio performance. • Travel nationally to assets as required.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least ten years of hospitality asset management experience, preferably within real‑estate private equity, and a proven record of portfolio leadership and strategic planning. Required skills include strong analytical and presentation abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the capacity to influence hotel operators and drive change. An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or related graduate degree is a plus. • Demonstrate at least ten years of hospitality asset management experience, preferably in private‑equity settings. • Exhibit strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. • Hold an undergraduate degree; an MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.

The position is classified as exempt with a salary range of $225,000–$265,000 paid bi‑weekly.
