Warehouse Operator

About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate at Zekelman Industries you will support efficient warehouse and distribution operations at our Auburn, WA facility. You will ensure steel tube and pipe products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to established procedures and quality standards. The role is full‑time, onsite and suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and values teamwork, safety, and operational excellence. • Enforce safe work practices in line with company policies and regulations • Prepare materials and equipment for distribution to support timely order fulfillment • Process and fulfill customer and internal orders with accuracy and completeness • Pick, pack, scan, and stage orders using warehouse scanning tools • Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers safely and efficiently • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; report damages or discrepancies • Replenish and rotate warehouse stock using reach trucks or forklifts • Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials • Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures for improved accuracy and efficiency

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of warehouse experience—preferably in steel, tubing, or a related industry—or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and warehouse scanning systems is required, as well as strong attention to detail, effective communication, problem‑solving ability, and teamwork skills. The position demands regular on‑site attendance and the ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties.
