Social Media & Content Creation Intern

About the Role

The intern will support the creation of multimedia content, assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, and engage with the online community. Working closely with the Social Media Manager, the intern will help shape strategies that align with the brand’s objectives and track performance metrics. • Create and edit engaging video, photo, and graphics content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand goals. • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and engagement. • Build the monthly social media calendar aligned with brand pillars and overall marketing strategy. • Support planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions. • Perform daily community engagement tasks, responding to comments, direct messages, and story tags. • Assist the influencer program by maintaining relationships, monitoring activity, and approving content. • Stay current with social media trends and best practices. • Provide additional marketing and administrative support as needed.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates are creative, organized, and comfortable collaborating in a fast‑paced environment. They should be pursuing a degree related to marketing or social sciences, have experience with video editing tools, and possess strong communication and research abilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills. • Availability for a 40‑hour week during standard summer business hours. • Familiarity with basic research methods, survey construction, and secondary research. • Capability to synthesize research into actionable recommendations. • Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) and optionally Photoshop or Canva. • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices. • Creative storytelling ability. • Pursuing a relevant degree (Marketing, Research, Social Sciences) at an accredited university; graduate students or undergrads with at least three years completed preferred. • Experience conducting medium‑to‑large‑scale research projects with recommendations preferred. • Portfolio of video editing and social media work is a plus.
