About the Role

The job involves performing installation and sheet‑metal fabrication work while interpreting complex ventilation, assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Workers must fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and maintain high quality standards. • Install foundations, ventilation systems, bulkheads, and shipboard furniture. • Fabricate sheet‑metal components in the shop. • Read and interpret complex ventilation, assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols and material specifications. • Lay off and prepare piece parts for fabrication and assembly. • Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring quality. • Operate hand tools, electric drills, grinders, rivet guns, drill presses, press brakes, shears, and other shop equipment.

What You Bring
