About the Role

• Support the wider GIS team to meet project deadlines across multiple assignments. • Assist with geospatial data digitising, management, analysis and mapping for report production. • Evaluate user needs and recommend suitable GIS tools, databases or automation solutions such as Python scripting, FME workbenches or Power Automate flows. • Manage, query and analyse spatial and non‑spatial data using SQL Server. • Identify workflow improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and drive innovation. • Implement project data‑management and mapping solutions. • Check and process incoming data, delivering high‑quality outputs for colleagues and clients. • Collaborate with GIS team members to develop and apply standards and tools for daily GIS processes. • Participate in knowledge‑sharing activities within the global GIS community of over 700 specialists.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in GIS, computer science, environmental management, geography or a related field and has relevant experience in the geospatial, environmental or engineering sectors. They are proficient with the ESRI ArcGIS suite, demonstrate meticulous attention to data quality, and are motivated to apply emerging technologies while pursuing continuous professional development. • Hold a degree in GIS, computer science, environmental management, geography or a related discipline. • Possess relevant experience in the geospatial, environmental or engineering industry. • Demonstrate strong proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS Suite, including ArcGIS Online/Portal, and spatial analysis workflows. • Show meticulous attention to detail in data capture, management and pattern identification. • Possess scripting skills in Python, ESRI Arcade or R, and/or experience with FME. • Have experience with database administration on MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL. • Familiarity with Land Registry data products and land‑referencing concepts. • Experience using Office 365 automation tools such as Power Automate, Excel VBA, Power Query, Access VBA, Power BI or SharePoint.
