Associate Engineer - Mechanical ETO
Design and develop LV switchboard mechanical components, busbars, and panel assemblies.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Design LV electrical distribution equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, MCC/PCC panels. • Perform calculations and select busbar sizes, enclosures, and mechanical mounting assemblies. • Develop complex busbar assembly models, drawings, and bills of material for the switchboard product line. • Identify and design special fabricated parts using AutoCAD and 3D CAD tools (Inventor), ensuring manufacturing instructions and material routing. • Release engineering change requests/revisions (ECR/ECO) for the mechanical team as needed. • Create or edit bills of material to ensure accurate material demand for purchased and in‑house components. • Load manufacturing documentation into ENOVIA via Plant Order Manager for internal and external access. • Follow mechanical design standards and drawing nomenclature for the switchboard product line. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive design objectives for sustaining products.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of experience in panel and bus design (MV/LV). • Knowledge of IEC/UL standards, 3D modeling, PLM, ERP systems, project management, virtual environments, and strong communication skills.
