About the Role
• Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. • Construct drawings with computer‑aided design software under supervision of technologists or engineers. • Produce BIM drawings from engineering sketches and instructions. • Coordinate workload to complete engineering tasks on schedule. • Perform continual QA/QC of own work product. • Work independently on assigned projects/tasks and assist team members. • Support field assignments such as site topographic surveys, construction supervision, and project coordination for managers. • Comply with all relevant legislation and HDR’s corporate policies and procedures.

What You Bring
HDR is currently seeking a junior to intermediate CAD technician or technologist to support our Water Business. • Minimum three years of related experience; new graduates considered based on work‑term or summer employment. • Advanced proficiency with Revit and Civil 3D. • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document‑management infrastructure. • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and communication tools. • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational abilities. • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
