About the Role

Daily work involves following manufacturing instructions, interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, and completing required ISO and quality documentation. Technicians install equipment, handle wire operations, lift heavy copper parts, manage Kanban inventory levels, and conduct thorough inspections to ensure hardware integrity and cleanliness. They also respond to change notices, customer modifications, and support engineering and drafting teams on development projects, while providing training and coaching to peers. • Assemble, wire, fit, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies and related sub‑assemblies. • Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and oral instructions to produce parts. • Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists and feedback forms. • Mount and install electrical equipment, perform wire operations, and lift heavy copper components. • Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report shortages. • Inspect assemblies for missing hardware and cleanliness. • Respond to change notices, customer adjustments, and development requests. • Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision on customer‑initiated projects. • Train and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer.

What You Bring

The Assembly Technician constructs a range of medium and high voltage components, such as indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker compartments, power modules and related sub‑assemblies. The role thrives in an innovative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Greenwood facility. The position does not include relocation assistance. Applicants should have at least one year of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting and be proficient with hand and air tools. Strong verbal and written communication, analytical problem‑solving, teamwork, flexibility for overtime, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Enovia) are required. • Meet requirements: high school diploma/GED, US work authorization, 1+ year manufacturing experience, proficiency with hand/air tools, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, willingness to work flexible hours/overtime, and basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Enovia).
