About the Role
The Electrical Inspector role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on ensuring the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of electrical installations across construction projects in the region. The position involves on‑site inspections, coordination with contractors and engineers, and travel to multiple project sites as needed. Key duties include inspecting wiring, conduits, panels, lighting and power systems, reviewing shop drawings, overseeing testing and commissioning, documenting non‑conformances, and maintaining comprehensive inspection records. The inspector also provides guidance to contractors, collaborates with other disciplines, and stays current with local and international electrical codes. • Inspect electrical systems (wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, power) for compliance with specs, codes, and standards. • Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization to confirm functionality and safety. • Review contractor shop drawings and submittals against project requirements. • Identify, document, and report non‑conformances and coordinate corrective actions. • Collaborate with other inspectors and disciplines to resolve integration issues. • Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and quality‑assurance records. • Witness and document critical tests such as pressure, leak, and system start‑ups. • Verify material, workmanship, and equipment quality to meet specifications. • Provide guidance to contractors on electrical code compliance. • Keep up‑to‑date with local Saudi and international electrical regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high‑school diploma with at least 15 years of electrical inspection experience, deep knowledge of Saudi Arabian codes, strong analytical and organizational skills, and fluency in English and Arabic. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required, while a bachelor’s degree, OSHA certification, CQM‑C, and experience with large‑scale Middle Eastern projects are preferred. • Travel to multiple Riyadh‑area project sites as required. • Minimum 15 years electrical inspection experience with strong knowledge of Saudi codes. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities; fluent in English and Arabic. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. • Preferred: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, OSHA 10‑hour, CQM‑C certification, MS Office and project‑management proficiency, experience on large Middle‑East projects, familiarity with IEC/NFPA standards.
