About the Role
The Hourly Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the first‑shift team, ensuring all team members work effectively and align with business priorities. In this role the supervisor is expected to meet or exceed production and revenue targets while maintaining gross margin by minimizing waste. They provide the operations team with the data needed for the SIOP process, collaborate with operations managers and bargaining‑unit leads to prioritize staffing, and coordinate employee training to uphold quality standards. The supervisor also resolves quality, process, equipment, material and labor issues, drives continuous‑improvement initiatives, updates production metrics, and facilitates regular team communication. Additional responsibilities include capacity planning, overtime scheduling, policy communication, and strict adherence to safety and environmental procedures. • Meet/exceed production and revenue targets while minimizing waste • Provide operations team with data for SIOP execution • Collaborate with managers and bargaining‑unit leads to prioritize staffing assignments • Coordinate and execute employee training to ensure quality compliance • Resolve quality, process, equipment, material, and labor issues and escalate when needed • Lead continuous‑improvement and productivity initiatives • Update production metrics and facilitate regular team communication • Identify and track parts, assemblies, and shortages; provide capacity‑planning input • Schedule overtime and communicate policy or operational changes • Enforce safety, health, and environmental (S|H|E) rules and procedures

What You Bring
Qualified candidates must hold an associate’s degree with at least three years of supervisory experience, or a high‑school diploma with five years of supervisory experience, plus a minimum of three years in a manufacturing setting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and experience conducting quality inspections in manufacturing is required. • Associate’s degree + 3 years supervisory experience or high‑school diploma + 5 years supervisory experience • Minimum three years manufacturing experience; bachelor’s degree preferred • Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
