About the Role
Key responsibilities include general plant labor and clean‑up of production areas, shoveling stone from around conveyors, performing maintenance work such as cutting, welding, and replacing rollers, bearings, and belt splicing, and operating equipment like bobcats, skid steers, haul trucks, dozers, and track hoes. The technician will also run a water truck to control dust, report equipment problems to management, complete daily inspections and pre‑shift reports, fill in across production positions during vacations or high‑demand periods, and assist other workers as directed. • Perform general plant labor and clean‑up, including shoveling stone around conveyors. • Conduct plant maintenance tasks such as cutting, welding, roller/bearing replacement, and belt splicing. • Operate heavy equipment including bobcat, skid steer, haul truck, dozer, and track hoe as needed. • Run water truck to control dust on roadways. • Report equipment issues and complete daily pre‑shift inspection reports. • Fill in across production positions during vacations, absences, or high‑demand periods. • Uphold uncompromising safety standards and follow safety instructions.

What You Bring
Qualifications emphasize an uncompromising focus on safety, the ability to perform varied duties, and experience with welding, cutting, and heavy‑equipment operation. Candidates should be self‑motivated, quick learners, able to understand basic safety instructions, willing to work weekends and overtime, and able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
