About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of industrial power distribution panels, control panels, and instrumentation for a wide variety of HVACR projects, adhering to Silent‑Aire standards and industry codes. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from detailed electrical drawing reviews and construction work package preparation to testing, commissioning, and client support. Daily tasks include performing electrical design calculations, sizing, and power‑system studies using SKM software; creating single‑line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and material bills; and analyzing and troubleshooting electrical components. You will also produce comprehensive documentation and ensure all deliverables meet CSA, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, CEC and other relevant standards. • Design industrial power distribution and control panels for HVACR projects • Perform electrical design calculations and power‑system studies using SKM software • Create single‑line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and material bills • Review electrical drawings and prepare construction work packages • Analyze and troubleshoot electrical components; support commissioning and client service

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is an APEGA‑registered P.Eng. in good standing with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and demonstrable experience designing industrial power distribution and control panels, preferably on modular data‑center or HVAC projects. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8, strong knowledge of safety and building codes, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to travel to field sites, both domestic and occasional international, is also expected. • APEGA‑registered P.Eng. in good standing with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering • Experience in industrial power distribution, control panel design, preferably modular data‑center or HVAC projects • Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 • Knowledge of CSA, IEEE, API, NFPA, OH&S, NEC, and CEC codes • Strong written and verbal communication, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
