About the Role

The Survey Department Manager will manage day‑to‑day land surveying operations, including internal and external client communication, project proposal preparation, and invoicing. You will oversee two or more survey crews and ensure high‑quality delivery of survey services. The role also requires new business development, leveraging Colliers’ diverse geospatial capabilities such as 3D high‑definition laser scanning, mobile LiDAR mapping, rail surveying, GPS, and conventional surveys. • Manage daily land surveying operations. • Communicate with internal and external clients. • Prepare project proposals and handle invoicing. • Supervise two or more survey crews. • Drive new business development using geospatial services. • Utilize 3D high‑definition laser scanning, mobile LiDAR, rail surveying, GPS, and conventional surveys. • Generate revenue from existing and new client bases. • Participate in education reimbursement, free in‑house courses, mentorship, wellness, and women’s organization programs.

In this role you will lead teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical accuracy from field work to final deliverables. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment, combining leadership, geospatial precision, and project vision while mentoring talent and collaborating with top AEC professionals. A professional land surveyor license is required, along with a minimum of ten years of experience across all areas outlined in the job description. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to generate revenue from both existing clients and new business development.
