About the Role

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining distribution channels, developing sales forecasts, securing orders, and conducting market research. The manager will assist customers with business planning, educate them on product specifications, warranties, and technical support, and convey customer feedback to cross‑functional teams. Advanced deal structures, multi‑unit rollouts, lean manufacturing principles, expense control, and margin improvement are also integral parts of the role, alongside continuous self‑development and training. • Build and sustain distribution channels for Genie Aerial Work Platform products in CO, UT, and NM. • Develop sales forecasts and secure orders through market research and customer engagement. • Advise customers on business planning, product specifications, pricing, warranties, and technical support. • Gather and relay customer feedback to engineering, finance, and other cross‑functional teams. • Negotiate complex deals, including product releases, payment terms, and freight allowances. • Manage multi‑unit equipment rollouts and regional account contracts. • Apply lean manufacturing principles in all customer and internal interactions. • Monitor personal expenses, discount levels, and margin improvement initiatives. • Travel 2–3 nights per week for trade shows, customer visits, and business development. • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track opportunities and pipeline. • Conduct price, product, and delivery negotiations with customers. • Pursue ongoing product training and professional development.

What You Bring

The position requires frequent travel, with an estimated 2–3 overnight trips per week for trade shows, customer visits, and business development activities. A company vehicle will be provided to support these responsibilities. Basic qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and residency within the territory. Preferred qualifications include 3–5 years of sales experience in aerial products or equipment rental, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and the ability to negotiate pricing, product, and delivery terms. • Meet basic qualifications: high school diploma/GED and residence within the territory. • Possess 3–5 years of aerial equipment sales or rental experience and strong communication skills.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $117,000 to $130,000 base salary, plus a performance bonus.
