Job Highlights
About the Role
The journey-level technician provides construction, maintenance, and repair services for electrical and electronic equipment used in an aerospace/industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machinery. Technical duties include mechanical troubleshooting of spindles, tooling, lubrication systems, and assemblies; programming and maintaining PLC and CNC control platforms (e.g., Mitsubishi, FANUC, Haas); and calibrating controls, servos, and parameters. Electrical responsibilities cover service of distribution systems, motors, fire alarms, programmable lighting, and compliance with NEC standards. The incumbent must safely operate ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and powered industrial trucks while adhering to personal protective equipment requirements and departmental safety goals.
